AYSO Coach Training

AYSO Coach Training Session: on Sunday, March 16, 2025

Our coach training session has been moved from March 8 to March 16. This field training session is required for AYSO 10U and Upper Coach certification, and strongly recommended for 5U, 6U, and 8U age divisions.

Sunday, March 16, 2025

·       5U, 6U, and 8U Coaches: 10:00 – 11:30 AM (Please bring your kids)

·       10U & Upper 12:30 - 2:00 PM (Please bring your kids)

·       Location: Benteen Park, 30315

This training isn’t just another requirement—it’s a chance to grow as a coach, connect with others, and make sure we’re giving our kids the best experience possible. Here’s a message from our Area Director Pete Xiques, the course instructor about why this matters:

“This training is essential to ensuring our kids have a great season, and Region Boards often require it because it significantly improves coaching quality. It provides a chance to ask questions, learn new tips, techniques, and drills, and connect with other coaches to share ideas. Even experienced coaches and past players benefit from learning AYSO’s unique coaching methodology.

As a coach, Regional Commissioner, Area Director, and a past member of the National Coaching Commission, I strongly believe that no coach should be on the field without attending AYSO’s in-person training.

I look forward to seeing you—it’s going to be fun and informative!”

How to register for the course

Register for the field session Online in AYSOU and complete the classroom training for the age division you are coaching BEFORE attending the field session on Sunday.
